Upgrading your plan, subscriptions and invoices
Whenever you want to move up to a bigger package, the path is always the same: you open the plans page, pick a plan,
complete payment on the secure checkout page, and your subscription becomes active. Below is every step of that flow,
plus where to follow your invoices afterwards.
Where an upgrade starts
There are several doors to the plans page:
- On the My Dashboard screen, while you are on the free plan, the Upgrade link next to the What's in your plan section
takes you to the Settings › Subscription page.
- The Change plan button on the Settings › Subscription page opens the plans page directly.
- The Go to the {plan} plan button, which only appears on a field reserved for a higher package (for example a field
that looks locked while you are creating a demand), also leads to the plans page.
- On the supplier side, if you open the Marketplace screen without an active seller package, the package selection
screen appears instead of the demand list. This screen opens with the Seller tab already selected.
- If your weekly offer allowance is used up when you submit an offer, you see the warning "You've reached this week's
offer limit" together with an Upgrade package button.
The button on the plan card
On the plans page you first choose Monthly or Annual billing, then find your package under the Buyer, Seller or Suite
tab.
- Buyer plans show Upgrade on the button; seller and Suite plans show Subscribe.
- The button on the package you are already using appears greyed out as Current plan.
- The free buyer plan cannot be purchased; its button reads Always free and is not clickable.
Who can start a subscription
Because starting a subscription creates a financial commitment on behalf of the company, this action is available only
to company members with the Owner or Manager role. A user with the Member role can select a plan, but the transaction
will not complete. You can see team roles on the Settings › Team Management page.
The payment step
When you press the button, you are redirected to a secure checkout page. Payment is taken there, in the payment
provider's own environment — you never enter your card details on MarbleMap screens.
Your plan does not activate until payment is approved. If you abandon the checkout page halfway through, nothing is
charged.
On rare occasions the checkout page cannot be created at that moment; in that case you are not redirected. Instead, a
Your subscription was created notice appears under the plan card and your subscription stays pending until payment is
confirmed.
What you see when you come back
When you return from the checkout page, an Activating your subscription… screen appears first while your plan is
verified with the billing provider. One of three outcomes then follows:
1. You are now subscribed — your package is ready to use.
2. Payment pending — your payment is being processed and you will be notified once it clears.
3. Purchase cancelled — no payment was made, and you can return to the plans page whenever you like.
Activation normally takes a few seconds. If it takes longer than expected, a Still activating message appears; refresh
the page, or check the status on the Settings › Subscription page a little later.
The Settings › Subscription page
This page shows your plan and your invoices in one place.
A company can hold a Buyer plan and a Seller plan at the same time; Suite also counts as a separate plan. Every active
plan is listed in its own section. The card shows the plan type (Buyer / Seller / Suite), the plan name, the package
badge, the status badge (Active, Pending or Inactive), the number of seats included in the plan and, where applicable, a
"Renews on {date}" line. If you have no active plan at all, the card reads Free.
Invoice history
The Invoice history section at the bottom of the same page lists your invoices from newest to oldest; each row shows the
date, the invoice number, the amount and a Paid / Pending status.
- The Download button opens the invoice document. If no document has arrived from the provider, this button stays
disabled.
- If an invoice has Pending status, a Pay button appears on that row. It opens the secure checkout page for that
specific invoice in a new tab.
If you have no invoices yet, you see the text "No invoices yet."
The Payment Method page
The Settings › Payment Method page shows your stored card. Because we do not keep your card details, this page normally
shows the No card is stored state. The reason lies in the payment model: each invoice is paid individually, through a
secure payment link created specifically for that invoice. In other words, there is nothing you need to set up here in
order to pay.
Keep an eye on your usage
You can follow what your package gives you and how much of it you have used on the Settings › Usage page. Your weekly
offer usage, your plan limits (images, documents, file size, offer validity) and the features tied to your package are
all listed on that single screen.
