What this is for
On any given day the Marketplace shows you dozens of demands, and you cannot put together an offer for all of them right away. Saving lets you flag a demand as "I'll come back to this one." That way an interesting demand does not disappear deep down the list — one filter brings it back in front of you when you are ready.
Saving is personal: you place the flag, but your colleagues at the same company can also see who flagged what. This reduces the chance of two people working on the same demand without knowing it.
Saving a demand
- Find the card of the demand you are interested in on the Marketplace list.
- Click the bookmark icon in the top-right corner of the card. Hovering over it shows the Save tooltip.
- Once saved, a check mark appears on the icon, the button changes color, and a Saved badge appears on the bottom row of the card. The tooltip on the icon also changes to Saved.
- If you change your mind, click the same icon again; it now works as Remove bookmark and the badge disappears.
Saving does not open the card, does not start an offer, and sends no notification to the buyer. It is a marker visible only to you and your team.
Finding what you saved
In the Filters panel on the left, two of the checkboxes under the Quick filters heading relate to saving:
- Saved by my team — demands flagged by anyone at your company. The ones you saved yourself are included in this list.
- Saved by me — only the demands you flagged.
As soon as you tick a checkbox the list narrows, and the filter you selected appears as a removable chip above the list. To clear all filters at once, use the Clear all button next to the chips.
If a demand was saved by a colleague rather than by you, the bottom row of the card shows Saved by {name}; hover over it to see the names of the people who saved it.
The filters you select are written into the page address. So if you refresh the page while Saved by me is active, or bookmark the address in your browser, you come back to the same view.
Saving vs. assigning
Saving is a reminder; it hands work to no one and expects a reply from no one. If you want to pass responsibility for a demand to a colleague, use the Assign to teammate button at the bottom of the card. The person you assign it to finds that demand through the Assigned to me filter, and the card shows Assigned: {name}. For details, see the article covering assignment.
Tip
While reviewing what you saved, also switch on the Hide ones I offered on option. The list then leaves only the demands you flagged but have not offered on yet — your next piece of work becomes obvious at a glance.
Saving applies only to demands that are live on the Marketplace. Once a buyer accepts an offer and turns the demand into an order, or the demand goes off the marketplace, the card no longer appears in the Marketplace list — and it does not appear among your saved items either. That way your saved list only ever holds demands that are still live. If you no longer want to follow a demand, click the bookmark icon again to remove the bookmark.
