The AI Recommendation flag goes to the offer with the lowest grand total on the shared EUR basis — it is a recommendation, and the decision stays with you.
Here is how the flag is decided:
- Each offer keeps its own currency; the comparison runs on the offer's EUR equivalent, and the lowest grand total gets the flag.
- On itemised (Advanced) demands, only offers that price every line are eligible. An offer that leaves lines blank looks cheap only because it skipped them, so it cannot take the flag.
- Withdrawn offers are left out of the calculation.
The flag comes with a one-line reason, factor tags underneath it, and a ... cheaper than the next best figure — so you also see the gap to the runner-up. The card offers you only Review and Accept; nothing is ever accepted on your behalf.
This is one of MarbleMap's standing promises: the system recommends, the buyer decides. The flag exists to surface the strongest candidate. You are free to accept a different offer for reasons that never show up in a number — lead time, payment terms, or your own history with a supplier.
