No — you never have to accept any of the offers you receive; you can close your demand without awarding one.
You review offers side by side on the Offers tab. The strongest one carries an AI Recommendation chip, but that is only a suggestion — the final call always sits with a human. If an offer does not work for you, turn it down with Reject, or use Request revision to ask the supplier to update specific lines or terms.
If none of them suit you, you have two ways out:
- From the My Demands list, open the demand's menu and choose Close → Yes, close. The demand closes and every supplier is notified.
- From the demand screen, choose Cancel demand. The demand is cancelled, suppliers can no longer submit offers, and this cannot be undone.
If no offer has arrived yet, the Close demand button on the demand screen does the same job.
A passed offer deadline forces nothing either: the demand does not close by itself, and the decision stays yours.
You are only committed once you hit Accept. Until then no contract exists, and MarbleMap takes no cut of the sale — our revenue comes from subscriptions only.
