Rebuilding the same filters on the Marketplace page every single day is wasted time. A search alarm lets you name and store the filter combination you use most often, then bring it back with a single tap.
What a search alarm is
A search alarm is a named record of the filter combination currently selected. You set up a search such as "delivery to Türkiye, marble, last 7 days" once and give it a name. On later visits you simply pick it from the list and restore it instead of rebuilding it by hand.
Alarms are saved to your own account; the Search alarms list shows only the alarms you created yourself.
Search alarms sit in the filter panel of the Marketplace page. Marketplace access requires an active seller package; without one you see the package selection screen instead of the demand list, and neither the filter panel nor the alarm section is shown.
Creating an alarm
- Open the Marketplace page. In the Filters panel on the left, choose the filters you want: type text into the Search box and set the Category, Country, Currency and Published fields.
- In the Search alarms section of the same panel, tap Create alarm for this search.
- Type a name you will recognise into the box that opens. The box shows Alarm name (e.g. TR · Marble) as an example. The name cannot be left empty and can be at most 200 characters long.
- Finish with Save alarm. If you change your mind, choose Cancel.
The alarm you save appears immediately in the list just below. The list is ordered with the most recently created alarm at the top.
Using a saved alarm
When you tap an alarm in the list, the filters you saved are restored and the demand list refreshes accordingly. Paging starts again from the first page.
An alarm stores these five filters: the search text, the categories you selected, country, currency and the published date range. The checkboxes under the Quick filters heading (Hide ones I offered on, Saved by my team, Saved by me, Assigned to me) and your Sort choice are not part of the alarm. When you restore an alarm these checkboxes are cleared; tick them again if you need them.
You can change a restored search however you like; your changes do not affect the stored alarm. If you also want to keep the new combination, create a separate alarm with Create alarm for this search.
Deleting an alarm
Tap the Delete alarm icon next to the alarm you want to remove. A confirmation box titled Delete alarm? appears and shows the alarm's name in the warning "The alarm … will be deleted." Confirm with Delete alarm, or choose Cancel if you change your mind.
Deleting only removes the record; it has no effect on the demands in the Marketplace or on your offers.
If you have no alarms yet
If you have never created an alarm, the section shows this line: "No alarms yet. Set your filters, then create one." Choose your filters and create your first alarm with Create alarm for this search.
If the alarm list fails to load, an error message and a Retry button appear. When the problem is a temporary connection issue, Retry is usually enough.
What you should know
A search alarm stores your search; it does not notify you when a new demand is published. No email or notification is sent to you. To see new demands you have to open the Marketplace page, load your alarm and refresh the list.
For that reason, alarms are most useful for searches you check regularly. Defining a few alarms around your areas of expertise and opening them one after another during the day is far faster than rebuilding the filters from scratch every time.
If you want to reset the filters completely, use the Clear all link at the top of the panel; this does not delete your saved alarms, it only clears the current search.
