Connecting MarbleMap to your AI assistant

What this is for When you connect MarbleMap to the AI assistant you already use, you can manage your demands and offers without ever leaving the assistant's chat window. You work by talking to it — "show me the demands I opened this month", "are there any travertine demands closing this week" — and the assistant looks at the data in your MarbleMap account on your behalf. The connection runs on your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription. You do not need to buy an additional package on the MarbleMap side. What it can do Once the connection is in place, your assistant can: - Search and inspect demands in natural language - Manage your offers and create new ones - Browse categories - Fetch demand and offer attachments These are exactly the same actions you perform on your own screens in MarbleMap: if you are a buyer, your own demands and the offers they receive; if you are a supplier, the open demands in Marketplace and your own My Marketplace Offers list. Getting the connection address 1. Open Settings › Integrations. 2. On the card for the assistant you use, press Connect. 3. The setup section that opens shows a connector URL. Press Copy; the button briefly changes to Copied. If the address is not copied to your clipboard, you can also select the text in the box with your mouse and copy it manually. Adding it to ChatGPT The steps shown on the ChatGPT card are: 1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors. 2. Add a new connector and paste the connector URL you copied. 3. Sign in with your MarbleMap account — you can now use it in chat. Adding it to Claude The steps on the Claude card are: 1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors. 2. Choose "Add custom connector" and paste the connector URL you copied. 3. Sign in with your MarbleMap account — you can now use it in chat. The sign-in step matters: the assistant acts on behalf of your account. Everything it can see is therefore limited to the information you are entitled to see in MarbleMap. The sealed-bid rule applies here too — even if you ask your assistant as a supplier, you cannot see the number, price or status of competing offers. What you should know Anything you do through the assistant is still subject to the plan and package rules on your account. For example, if you do not have a seller package, Marketplace search is closed from inside the assistant as well; and when you submit an offer, your weekly offer allowance still applies. In such a case the assistant tells you which rule is blocking you and where you can manage your plan. The assistant connection does not replace MarbleMap's own screens. Actions such as payment and messaging within a demand are carried out inside MarbleMap. Closing the setup section When you are finished, the same button changes to Hide setup; pressing it closes the setup panel and keeps the page tidy. Your connection keeps working while the panel is closed — the panel only displays the setup details. The note at the bottom of the setup section states that one-click install in the ChatGPT and Claude stores is coming soon. Until that day arrives, you need to add the connection manually using the steps above.

Account settings, language and notification preferences

Your personal details, the interface language, your notification preferences and the connection to your AI assistant are all collected in the Settings section. This article walks you through each of those screens step by step. How the Settings section is organised When you open Settings from the account menu in the top right, you will see a menu on the left grouped under four headings: - Company — Company Profile, Team Management, Verification - Subscription & Billing — Subscription, Usage, Payment Method - Account — My Account, Notifications - Integrations — Integrations Selecting a heading on the left opens the matching screen in the area on the right. Your company name and the Settings title appear at the very top of the page. My Account The Account › My Account screen shows the essentials about you at a glance: - Your name and email address (the contact details from your company profile) - Your account role, on the Role: line - Your company name under the Company heading These fields are display only here; they cannot be edited from this screen. To change your company name, contact details or profile content, use the Company › Company Profile screen. App language From the App language list on the same screen you can choose Türkçe or English. Your choice takes effect immediately and is stored in your browser, so the next time you sign in the application will not guess your browser language again — it opens in the language you selected. If you want to change your password To reset your password, log out and use the Forgot your password? link on the Sign in screen. You first enter your email address, then the 6-digit code sent to that address, and in the final step you set your new password. Notifications On the Account › Notifications screen you choose when you want to be notified. There are three preferences, and all three are on by default: 1. New offer — Notify me when a new offer arrives on my demands. 2. Message — Notify me when there is a new message in a demand chat. 3. Demand status — Notify me when the status of one of my demands changes. You can switch each row on or off using the toggle on its right. Your choice is saved immediately; there is no separate Save button to press. If something goes wrong while saving, the warning "Could not save your change. Please try again." appears at the top of the screen and the toggle returns to its previous position. The toggles are briefly disabled while the save is in progress — this is normal. Integrations: connecting your AI assistant From the Integrations screen you can connect MarbleMap to AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude and manage your demands and offers in natural language. There is a card for each assistant, and this connection is open to every account — it does not require a separate package. The model itself runs on your own assistant subscription. To set up the connection: 1. Press the Connect button on the card of the assistant you want to link. A setup panel opens underneath it. 2. Copy the connector address shown in the panel to your clipboard with the Copy button. (The address is visible on screen, so you can also select and copy it manually if you prefer.) 3. Go to the assistant's own Settings → Connectors section. 4. In ChatGPT, add a new connector and paste the address you copied. In Claude, use the "Add custom connector" option and paste the address there. 5. Sign in with your MarbleMap account. From then on you can use MarbleMap while chatting with the assistant. To close the setup panel, the same button becomes Hide setup. What you can do once connected Through the assistant you can carry out the following in natural language: - Search and inspect demands (RFQs) - Manage your offers and create new ones - Browse categories - Fetch demand and offer attachments MarbleMap's own rules continue to apply to these actions: through the assistant, too, you only see information your account is allowed to access and can only perform the actions your package permits. The sealed-bid principle is preserved here as well. One-click installation through the ChatGPT and Claude stores is not live yet; the screen notes that this feature is coming very soon. For now, you set the connection up with the steps above, pasting the address manually.

Inviting team members and managing roles

If more than one person at your company will be using MarbleMap, each of them needs a separate account under the same company. You manage this from the Settings › Team Management screen. What you see on the Team Management screen At the top you see your company's seat usage: {used} / {total} seats used. The seat count includes not only active members but also invitations that have not been accepted yet. Below that, the screen shows, in order: - the list of team members (name, email and role), - the Pending invitations card, if there are any, - the Invite a member card. Roles There are three roles: Owner, Manager and Member. The Invite a member card, the Change role selector next to each member and the Remove member button are visible only to the person with the Owner role. Other members can see the team list and the roles, but cannot invite members, change roles or remove members. The Cancel invite button, on the other hand, is visible to everyone on the team. Only an Owner or a Manager can actually cancel a pending invitation; a Member who tries will get an authorization error. When inviting someone, the only roles you can choose are Manager and Member. The Owner role cannot be granted through an invitation, and the existing Owner's role cannot be changed, nor can that person be removed from the team. Inviting a new member 1. Open the Settings › Team Management screen. 2. In the Invite a member card, enter the email address of the person you want to invite. 3. Choose the role from the list next to it: Manager or Member. 4. Press the Invite button. Once the invitation is created, an email containing the invitation link is sent to that person and the invitation appears in the Pending invitations list. If an invitation is already pending for the same email address, a second one cannot be sent. If you do not enter a valid email address, you will see the warning "Enter a valid email address." Managing pending invitations and members The Pending invitations card lists each invitation's email address, role and Pending status. If you are an Owner or a Manager, you can withdraw an invitation with the Cancel invite button next to it; the link of a cancelled invitation stops working and the seat it was holding is freed up. To change an existing member's role, simply pick the new role from the role list in that member's row; the change is saved immediately. To remove a member from the company, use the Remove member button at the end of the row. When all seats are taken When the number of seats in use reaches the total number of seats, the Invite button becomes inactive and the warning "All seats are taken." appears. To invite someone new, you first need to cancel a pending invitation or remove a member from the team. Accepting an invitation An invitation is tied to the email address it was sent to. That is why the invited person must have a MarbleMap account registered with the email address the invitation went to. If they do not have an account, they first need to register with the same email address via Create account and verify that address with the code sent to it. Only then can they accept the invitation. The invitation link is used as follows: 1. First, sign in to MarbleMap via Sign in using the account the invitation was sent to. 2. Then click the invitation link in the email again. This order matters: if you click the link while not signed in, you are redirected to the sign-in screen, but you are not returned to the invitation page automatically after signing in. In that case you need to click the link in the email one more time. When the link is opened correctly, the Join Team screen accepts the invitation and shows the message "You joined the team!" along with the role you have been given. The Go to Marketplace button takes you straight to the Marketplace screen. Invitation limits - An invitation is valid for 7 days. For an expired invitation you will see the message "This invitation has expired. Ask your team admin for a new one."; in that case the person with the Owner role needs to send a new invitation. - Each invitation can be used only once. If a link that has already been accepted or cancelled is opened again, you will see either "This invitation has already been accepted." or "This invitation was not found. It may have been cancelled." - An invitation cannot be opened with another account. If you sign in with an account belonging to a different email address and open the link, you will get the warning "This invitation was sent to a different email address." You need to sign in with the correct account and open the link again.

Filling in your company profile

Your company profile is where the other side of the table gets to know you on MarbleMap. When a buyer evaluates your offer, or a supplier looks at your demand, this is the first thing they read. You manage your profile from the Settings › Company Profile screen. How to reach the screen Open the account menu at the top right and: 1. Click Settings — Settings opens directly on the Company Profile tab. 2. Or pick Edit profile from the same menu; it takes you to the same editing screen. My company profile, in that same menu, does not open the editor — it opens the read-only version of your profile. Company details The Company details section contains the following fields: - Company name and Country (both required) - Primary supply region - Website and VAT / Tax number - Phone - Business type — Manufacturer / Producer, Wholesaler / Distributor, Retailer or Service provider - Year founded - Employees — one of the bands 1-9, 10-19, 20-49, 50-99, 100-249, 250+ - Delivery area — Worldwide, Regional or Domestic - Main contact role (for example "Sales") Once you have filled in the fields, press the Save changes button at the bottom of the page. When the save completes, the message "Your profile has been saved." appears just below the Company details heading. If you entered a phone number, it has to be valid for the country you selected; otherwise you will get a warning before it saves. Description and languages The Company overview section holds the Description and Languages fields. In the Languages field you can type entries separated by commas (for example "tr, en, de"). The length of the description depends on your plan: up to 280 characters on the Free plan, and 2000 characters on Pro. This section is also saved with Save changes. Logo and cover image Two images are managed from the area at the very top of the page: - Logo — available on every plan. - Cover image — exclusive to Pro. On Free accounts, a Pro notice appears in place of this field and your profile uses the default banner. There is one important detail about images: the file is uploaded the moment you select it. You do not need to press Save changes as well. In the same way, when you remove an image the deletion is applied immediately. If the file type or size is not acceptable during upload, or if you have reached your plan's limit, a warning explaining this appears right below the upload area. Pro-only sections The sections below unlock on Pro. On Free accounts the section is still visible, but instead of its content you see a Pro feature notice and an Upgrade to Pro button: - Portfolio gallery — up to 12 images. - Certifications — up to 10 files. The file picker accepts PDF files. - Why choose us — selling points as bullet items. Use Add a selling point to add a row, and the cross on the right of the row to delete it. - Frequently asked questions — with Add a question you add items, each consisting of a Question and an Answer field. Portfolio gallery and Certifications sit in the Capabilities & certifications section and are only visible on accounts that have a supplier side (Supplier, or both buyer and supplier). On buyer-only accounts this section does not appear at all. Supplier accounts also have a Capability tags field; that one is Pro-only as well and is entered as comma-separated values. Because Why choose us, Frequently asked questions and Capability tags are text fields, they are saved with Save changes. Gallery and certification files, on the other hand, are uploaded the moment they are selected. Profile completeness indicator The Profile completeness bar at the bottom of the form tracks four steps and shows the result as a percentage: 1. Add your VAT number 2. Upload a logo 3. Add one certification 4. Add portfolio images Completed steps appear as ticked. This order starts with the steps that build the most trust on the other side. Previewing the profile the other side sees The Preview public profile button at the top of the screen opens the read-only version of your profile — this is the page a buyer or a supplier sees. Despite the word "public" in its name, this page is not open to the internet: only users who are signed in to MarbleMap and whose account has been approved can see it. It is closed to search engines and to visitors who are not signed in. Who sees what Some information is protected regardless of your plan: - Your Phone number is never shown publicly. It is only shared with the companies you connect with through a demand. - Your VAT number appears masked on the profile (for example the first two and last four digits). The full number is only revealed to companies you have connected with. - The number of your certification files is visible to everyone; the files themselves are open to companies you have established a connection with. You can set the visibility of the Website field to Public or Connections only. This choice is Pro-only; on Free accounts a Pro notice and an Upgrade to Pro button appear in place of the option. Verification status The Settings › Verification screen shows your company's verification status: Not verified, Under review or Verified. This screen is for viewing the status only; you cannot change the status yourself from here. Business verification applications are not open yet. If you have a verification need, you can reach our team through the link on that same screen.
