Twelve currencies are supported: EUR (the pivot), USD, TRY, GBP, CNY, RUB, plus the Gulf currencies SAR, AED, QAR, KWD, BHD and OMR.
When you open a demand you pick one of them in Pricing currency, and every offer you receive is compared in that currency. Suppliers may still quote in their own money — they can price each line, and costs such as freight or container rent, in a different currency. Amounts in other currencies are shown converted into your comparison currency, so you read the offers side by side.
The rate is locked the moment you accept an offer, so the agreed amount stays put even if the market moves afterwards. Rates shown on screen are indicative, not live market rates.
You can also use Acceptable currencies on your demand to limit which currencies suppliers may quote in; leave it empty and all of them are allowed. Among the Gulf currencies, KWD, BHD and OMR are shown with three decimals, the rest with two.
