You can't place an order directly on MarbleMap, because MarbleMap doesn't sell stone — there's no stock, catalogue or price list here. MarbleMap is a demand marketplace that connects buyers with verified suppliers; the order itself is formed with the supplier whose offer you choose. The good news: it's quicker than chasing quotes from one seller at a time.
The flow has three steps:
Open your demand. Use New Demand to describe what you need — stone type, quantity, delivery terms (Incoterm), origin and HS code. When it's ready, hit Publish.
Sealed offers arrive. Operator-approved suppliers matching your category submit offers. Bidding is sealed: no supplier sees a rival's price or how many offers came in.
Compare and accept. You see every offer on one screen, on a common EUR basis. The most favourable offer is flagged automatically, but the decision stays yours. Choose Accept and the order is created, then tracked under Orders.
Contract, payment, shipping, invoicing and quality sit between you and the supplier; MarbleMap is not a party and takes no cut. Buyers start free, and no obligation arises until you accept an offer.
