No — the FX rate is locked the moment you accept an offer. Everything you see before that point is indicative.
Offers quoted in another currency are shown converted into the Pricing currency you chose when opening the demand, at the current rate. The FX conversion panel on the offer screen says so plainly: rates are indicative, not live, and they are locked in on acceptance.
How it works in practice:
- Buyer side: the pricing currency you set on the demand is your comparison baseline — every offer is shown in that currency so you can put them side by side.
- Supplier side: you can price each line and each expense in its own currency; the total is converted into the offer currency at the indicative rate. Switching the currency only re-converts the total — the amounts you typed are kept.
- On acceptance: when the buyer accepts, the rate in effect at that moment is fixed.
MarbleMap supports 12 currencies with EUR as the pivot, so offers are compared on a common EUR footing. If the market moves after acceptance, the locked rate still applies. Treat the figures you compare as an estimate; the binding conversion is the one taken at acceptance.
