Do you prepare the export documents?

Last updated on Jul 29, 2026

MarbleMap does not prepare your export documents. Customs declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and bills of lading belong to the commercial relationship between supplier and buyer, and MarbleMap is not a party. We do not sell stone, ship it or invoice it, so the paperwork is not ours to issue.

What we do is carry the information that makes those documents easier to get right into the demand. In the New Demand wizard every product line has a GTIP / HS Code and an Origin field (the Export information section), and at demand level you set a Preferred Incoterm; Accepted Incoterms is a Pro field. Suppliers can then price duties and freight properly, and offers stay comparable on the same delivery terms.

Which side is responsible follows from the Incoterms® 2020 rule you choose: export clearance usually sits with the seller, import formalities with the buyer. Details can be settled with the supplier in the bilingual in-demand messaging.

To see real prices and terms, open a New Demand with your stone type, quantity and delivery terms. Verified suppliers reply with sealed bids. Buyers start free, and nothing binds you until you accept.
