MarbleMap can't give a discount, because MarbleMap doesn't set the price — we don't sell stone. The price comes from the verified supplier who bids on your demand. The good news: the bargaining is already done on your behalf, up front.
That is what sealed bidding is for. Several suppliers answer the same demand, and none can see a rival offer, its price, or even how many offers arrived. Each must put forward its best price straight away — competition tightens it before you ask.
What replaces haggling is the revision mechanism. If an offer is close but the price, the lead time or one line doesn't work, use Request revision to name the line or term at issue; the supplier updates the offer and resubmits. With Add to compare you set offers side by side on a shared EUR basis, the most advantageous one is flagged automatically, and you decide.
MarbleMap takes no cut of any sale; revenue is membership-based, so there's no incentive to move a price either way.
To see a real price, open a New Demand with stone type, quantity and delivery terms. Buyers start free; nothing is binding until you accept an offer.
