MarbleMap does not guarantee quality — the stone's quality is the supplier's responsibility. We do not sell stone, hold inventory, ship samples or carry out inspections; we are a marketplace that takes a buyer's need to verified suppliers. Contract, quality, shipment and invoicing sit between buyer and supplier.
You still get concrete tools for talking about quality:
Verified businesses. Suppliers go through operator approval; their profile shows the Verified business badge and a Capabilities & certifications section.
Expectations in the demand. In the New Demand wizard, the Notes for suppliers field carries certifications, packaging and lead-time expectations, and each line item describes quality, dimensions and finish — so offers rest on the same footing.
The conversation is on record. The demand's FAQ tab asks every supplier the same question at once; Messages keeps the thread.
Sample approval, inspection and acceptance criteria are agreed between the two sides; spell them out in your contract.
