No — you pay the supplier directly. Nothing you owe for the goods passes through MarbleMap; the only money that moves through the platform is your own subscription fee.
The value of the goods is settled directly between buyer and supplier, on the payment terms agreed in the offer. MarbleMap never holds, forwards or escrows that money, and takes no cut of the sale — the platform's revenue comes from subscriptions only.
When a supplier builds an offer, the Payment terms step states the terms explicitly: Prepaid, Net 30 / 60 / 90, Letter of credit, or a Milestones schedule (say 30% on order confirmation, 40% before shipment). Once the offer becomes an order, each milestone is tracked as its own line — so MarbleMap keeps the record of payment, it does not collect it. Buyers can state a preference up front in the Payment terms request field (a Pro field); that is a request only, not binding, and the supplier answers it in the offer. Payment terms therefore become part of the comparison, alongside price.
Your subscription is the one thing you do pay MarbleMap, under Settings → Subscription & Billing.
