MarbleMap does not send samples — the supplier does. MarbleMap is not a stone seller or exporter; it is a demand marketplace that connects buyers with verified suppliers. We hold no inventory, no slabs, no blocks and no sample tiles, so there is nothing for us to ship.
Asking for a sample is a perfectly reasonable request — we are simply not the right party to ask. Here is how it works: open a New Demand describing what you need (stone type, quantity, processing, delivery terms). Verified suppliers respond with sealed offers. From there, the Messages area inside your demand lets you discuss samples directly with the supplier you like: which batch, how many pieces, which finish, and who covers the shipping. In-demand messaging is bilingual, so you write in your own language and the other side reads in theirs.
Whether a sample is sent, whether it carries a cost, and who pays the freight are all agreed between buyer and supplier. MarbleMap is not a party to that agreement, sets no sample fee, and gives no quality guarantee. Buyers start free, and nothing is binding until you accept an offer.
